Adjusting a TBS Roller Shutter: Limit Switches and Diagnosis

A TBS roller shutter that no longer stops in the right place is not necessarily broken: in most cases the limit switches simply need adjusting.

Understanding limit switches

Two electronic or mechanical stops tell the motor where to halt at the top and bottom. After years of use, axle slippage or a replaced part can shift these reference points.

Adjustment on a wired motor

1. Locate the two adjustment screws on the motor head (often marked with up/down arrows).
2. Set the shutter halfway, then turn the screw for the direction to correct, in small quarter turns.
3. Test a full cycle after each adjustment until the shutter stops where you want.

Adjustment on a radio motor

Reprogramming is done from the remote: activate setting mode with a key combination, position the curtain at the top point, confirm, then at the bottom point, confirm. Check the motor's manual, as each generation has its own sequence.

What if the problem persists?
