You have just installed a Cherubini radio motor, or yours lost its programming after a long power cut? Recommissioning follows a three-step logic: pairing, rotation direction, limit switches.
1. Pair the transmitter
With only this motor powered, long-press the transmitter's PROG key until the curtain jogs twice. The transmitter is registered.
2. Check the rotation direction
Press "up": if the curtain goes down, reverse the direction (holding STOP or a PROG sequence depending on the generation) before setting any stop. Setting limits with an inverted direction is the most frequent mistake.
3. Set the limit switches
- Bring the curtain to the top point, adjust precisely, confirm as per the manual (often STOP + PROG).
- Lower to the desired bottom point and confirm the same way.
- Run two full cycles to check the stops.
Our technicians' tips
- Never programme two new powered motors at the same time
- On a shutter with automatic locks, set the bottom point with the curtain seated and locks engaged
- Note the motor reference before closing the box: it will help at the next repair
